  • Clear order statuses

Move each order through New, Confirmed, Delivered, Cancelled or Returned, so you always know what needs action.

  • Everything in one place

Name, phone number, address, area, products and total are on one screen, ready for your confirmation call.

  • Automatic stock

Stock goes down when someone orders and goes back up when you cancel an order or mark a return.

  • Works on your phone

Check and update orders from your Android phone while you are at the market or the courier office.

At ten orders a day, a notebook or a Messenger label system can work. At thirty, things start to slip: a confirmed order never gets sent, a customer is called twice, or you sell the last piece of a dress that was already sold. An order management system for an online shop keeps every order, its status and your stock in one place, so nothing is forgotten.

What order management on EasyMall includes

Orders placed on your EasyMall store arrive in your dashboard automatically. Each order shows:

  • Customer name, mobile number and full address
  • Inside Dhaka or outside Dhaka, with the delivery charge
  • Products, quantities, prices and the total to collect on delivery
  • The current status

The statuses follow the real life of a cash on delivery order:

StatusWhat it means
NewThe customer placed the order. Call to confirm.
ConfirmedThe customer confirmed. Pack and send it to your courier.
DeliveredThe courier delivered it and collected the payment.
CancelledThe order will not be sent. Items return to stock.
ReturnedThe customer refused or sent it back. Items return to stock.

Why it matters for Bangladeshi sellers

COD selling has more steps than card payment. You need to confirm by phone, book a courier, wait for delivery, and then match the courier's payout to your orders. If your orders are scattered across chats, it is easy to lose money:

  • Unconfirmed orders get sent and come back as returns, costing you a delivery and return charge
  • Overselling happens when stock is not updated after each sale
  • Payouts are hard to check if you do not know which orders were delivered

With every order in one list, you can see at a glance how many are waiting for a call, how many are with the courier, and how many came back. For stock habits that help, read stock management for online shops.

How it works step by step

  1. A customer orders on your store website using the cash on delivery checkout. The order appears as New and stock for each item goes down.
  2. You call the customer to confirm the product, size, address and total. Our order confirmation call guide has a simple script.
  3. Mark it Confirmed if the customer agrees, or Cancelled if they do not answer after a few tries or change their mind. Cancelled items go back into stock.
  4. Pack and book the parcel with your courier, such as Steadfast, Pathao, RedX or Sundarban. Courier booking from the EasyMall dashboard is coming soon; for now, use your courier's panel or app.
  5. Mark it Delivered once the courier confirms delivery.
  6. Mark it Returned if the parcel comes back. The items return to stock so you can sell them again.

Tips for smoother order handling

  • Set fixed times for confirmation calls, for example 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., so new orders never wait more than half a day.
  • Do not send unconfirmed orders, especially high-value or outside Dhaka parcels. This is the simplest way to cut fake orders. More ideas in reducing fake orders with cash on delivery.
  • Check returns when they arrive. Inspect the item before marking it returned, so damaged stock is not counted as sellable.
  • Match courier payouts weekly against your Delivered orders.
  • Watch your return rate. If many orders come back from one area or one product, check the product description, photos and delivery charge.

A simple daily routine

Many sellers find a fixed routine helps. In the morning, call every New order from the night before. Around noon, pack Confirmed orders and hand them to the courier. In the evening, mark Delivered and Returned orders from the courier's update. Five minutes on the dashboard at each step keeps the whole list accurate.

Who it is for

  • Facebook sellers moving from Messenger and notebooks to a proper system
  • Shops handling a few to a few hundred orders a day
  • Teams where one person takes calls and another packs
  • Sellers preparing for Eid, when order volume can jump quickly
